Sign “pollution” shouldn’t be around schools

I respectfully ask all candidates to refrain from putting signs in front of schools, both public and Catholic. Let’s keep our kid’s space as clean and uncluttered as we can.

    I would recommend election signs be permitted in school areas, provided they do not create a safety hazard.

    This is an opportunity to engage youngsters in the election process and should be encouraged, not discouraged,

    Speaking to youngsters,they commented they would like to see the signs, after all they are interested in the election and many parents come to the schools to pickup their children.

    With an election participation of some 30% of the voters, engaging the children and they in turn questioning parents, possibly a greater voter turn out?
