Williams stays on as Southlake’s CEO

Dr. Dave Williams will stay on as President and CEO of Southlake Regional Health Centre after the hospital’s Board of Directors formally voted in favour of extending his five year contract for a second term.

“Dr. Williams has proven to be steadfast in his commitment to the delivery of safe, quality care and the continuous pursuit of healthcare excellence,” said Jonathan Harris, Chair of the Southlake Board of Directors. “On behalf of the entire Board, we are very much looking forward to continuing to work closely with Dr. Williams on our strategic priorities.”

According to Dr. Williams, it’s the combination of innovation and heart that makes Southlake so unique.

“I am thrilled to have been asked to continue as the President and CEO at Southlake,” he said in a statement. “I am truly honoured the Board has placed its trust in me yet again to be the leader of a hospital where staff and clinicians always put patients first.”
