More discussion needed over sports dome

There has been no more print about the sports dome since March 7. Does this mean no action will be taken? It seems to me there is no interest in stopping the money flow because of the tax by the Region.
Are people afraid to talk about loss of money and doing something about it because of the [Aurora Soccer Club] and backlash from parents?
Neil Garbe said while the Town could pull out of the deal that decision would leave the club in the lurch. Then, he goes onto say there are no solutions until the soccer club wants a deal. I would like to remind the soccer club they are on Aurora taxpayers’ land and if the taxpayers of Aurora want to withdraw money, they should listen.
It is time to stop talking and tell the soccer club you’re going to save the taxes the next seven years. If they wish to cover the cost, fine, if not the dome is finished.
