A word of thanks from Aurora Food Pantry

Thank you to all those who have supported the Aurora Food Pantry over the past years.
We continue to need donations throughout the summer and want to thank those who drop off donations at the local grocery stores or fire hall.
We would like to also thank those who bring donations to the Concert in the Park events on Wednesday evenings in the summer. Most of these donations are going right on the shelves.
The pantry currently needs to buy a lot of the staple foods like, canned vegetables, fruit and pasta, so all donations are appreciated.
Thank you to all whom attended the Celebrate Aurora Music Festival at the Town Park and brought donations for the Aurora Food Pantry and who bought 50/50 tickets to support the food bank. The lucky winners were:
Friday: Paul McIntosh, who donated his share of the $135 pot ($67.50) back to the Food Pantry. Thank you Paul!
On Sat. despite the rain we collected $182. The Weir family won $91.
On Sun. it was a great day. The pot was $514 Congratulations to “Cracker” (Graham Dinwoodie) who won $257!
Thank you to all who came out & helped sell tickets and thanks again to all who bought them!
Thanks also to Habachat for all the hard work that made this event possible. It was a good weekend.
