Thanks to a “kind stranger”

June 27, 2013   ·   0 Comments

This is a message to the kind stranger who saved our dog last Thursday night; thank you so much for taking Jake in to your home when you found him out wandering alone.
He had escaped through the unlatched garden gate at some point through the night, and we did not discover he was gone until the morning. We searched the neighbourhood and put up posters, and tried our best to believe he would be found safe.
His collar had an Abbotsford Vet Clinic tag on it, and within a few hours, we received a call from the staff at Abbotsford that you had returned him to them safe and sound. You even brought him in with a tasty rawhide bone proudly clenched in his mouth.
You didn’t leave any of your info with the staff, so we had no way to contact you personally to express our sincere gratitude.
Your actions only serve to reinforce the good that exists within the people of this town, and we are so grateful that you looked after Jake the way you did.
Thank you again for rescuing our Jake, and thanks too, to the staff at Abbotsford and all the friends and strangers who offered to help and expressed their positive thoughts and wishes for Jake’s safe return.
