Speed cushions cater to special interests

(Re: Residents demand action to curb speeders on Kennedy & Mavrinac, May 26)

I wonder if empirical parameters are being used to justify the allocation of tax money to help protect homeowners on some streets from “speeders”, while the rest of us are left to deal with the threat by ourselves.
To me, it smells like Town Councillors are kowtowing to a special interest group based merely on anecdotal input, which, in my opinion makes them either stupid or corrupt!
