Evening for Philippines was a success

We would like to thank everyone who participated in A December Evening 4 The Philippines last Thursday evening.
We especially acknowledge businesses Aurora Home Hardware, Aw Shucks, Caruso & Company, Ricoh Canada, Round the Bend Farm and Westview Golf Club who all provided great raffle prizes.
The 12 members of the Thursday Night Jam Groovestra squeezed into Aw, Shucks! and donated their special blend of R&B dance music. The dance floor was full, and the enthusiastic crowd responded with kind donations.
A total of $1,865 has been donated to the Canadian Red Cross Typhoon Haiyan Emergency Relief efforts.
Thank you for taking a moment to think about our Pacific neighbours affected by this disaster.
