The Aurora Barbarian men are still looking to put their mark on the 2017 Marshall Premiership season.
A 55 – 14 loss on Saturday to the Brantford Harlequins at Fletcher’s Field in Markham has the Barbarians riding a two-game losing streak to start the campaign, after a loss to the Markham Irish two weeks prior.
The Barbs have struggled defensively so far, giving up 94 points, the most allowed in Rugby Ontario’s most elite competition.
They next face Stoney Creek RFC in an away match on Saturday, in which one team will come out the winner of their first game this season.
The women’s side, meanwhile, are off to a hot start after a win over the Markham Irish to increase their record to 2 – 0 to start the season.
They take to the road to visit the winless Yeomen Lions on Saturday.
