Aurora Winter Blues Fest raised over $5,000 for shelter

The Aurora Winter Blues Festival Organizing Committee would like to thank the residents of Aurora for their continued support of “Live” music and our charitable causes, plus the generosity of our local business community for their sponsorships and donations.
Our second annual event, held March 2 at Theatre Aurora, was another sell out and was successful in raising $5,210 for Blue Door Shelters of York Region. In addition to our sponsors – RBC Dominion Securities, King Brewery, Coca-Cola Ltd Canada and The ARTS Music Store, we’d like to thank all of our many volunteers, plus Theatre Aurora, Jonathan’s Restaurant and the Town of Aurora, for their ongoing support in making the annual Aurora Winter Blues Festival a successful community run event.
We’re working on bringing an expanded event to Aurora for 2014 with an even bigger lineup of Top Canadian talent – here’s to keeping the Blues alive!
