Southlake Foundation members return to “rebuild”

October 29, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Following resignations earlier this year, four members of the Southlake Foundation Board have returned to the fold to “rebuild working relationships between Boards” governing the local hospital.

Returning are Steve Hinder, Barry Stock, Dr. Charmaine van Schaik and Dave Wattling.

Joining them as a new member is surgeon Dr. Julius Toth.

“We are pleased to have four of our former members return to their volunteer leadership positions on Southlake Foundation’s Board of Directors,” said Dr. Dave Williams, President and CEO of Southlake. “We are fortunate to have them on our side as we move forward.”

Their return followed a meeting with outside facilitator Graham Scott who met with parties to get a handle on the “relationship breakdown” between the two Boards, said the hospital, adding he helped “accelerate the process of rebuilding trust and their working relationship in order to move forward together in support of both organizations’ shared commitment to deliver advanced, superior healthcare services to the many communities it proudly serves.”
