Aurora FC ride hot streak to win over North Mississauga

Halfway through the League1 Ontario season, the Aurora FC men’s side is hitting its stride. The club picked up its second win of the 2018 season on Sunday evening, a 3 – 2 victory over North Mississauga SC, as part of a 2-1-1 streak dating back to mid-June.

The Varsity York Legion Lions roared through the Ontario Football Conference in 2018, only to be muffled in week one of the post-season. The league’s second-best defense clashed with the league’s top offense in a battle between the Lions and Oshawa Hawkeyes at St. Max Kolbe field on Saturday, with the Hawkeyes’ high-flying passing game coming out on top 28 – 9.
