Actions showed “serious attack” on democratic principles

I am writing in response to letters supporting Councillor Gaertner and Councillor Gallo and ridiculing Richard Johnson. I do not know any of these individuals personally, but I do know their records.
Both Gallo and Gaertner supported a SLAPP lawsuit using taxpayer funds to intimidate a private citizen. This is a serious attack on the principles on which a democracy is based.
If you want to give our representatives free rein to abuse the power of their office, by all means vote for these two. I value my democratic freedoms and I won’t be supporting them.
