Wellington and Industrial proposal would cause traffic headaches

(Re: Affordable housing delays Wellington & Industrial redevelopment, Oct. 4)

I read with interest about the new proposed condo at the corner of Wellington and Industrial Parkway.
Firstly, why is Aurora Council even considering another building on a major road in town? This building will not be sold to residents to live in, but to buyers looking to make a quick dollar and flip them. The market, as anyone can attest to, has flat lined. The two buildings on Yonge north of Wellington sit half full; peruse the condos for sale in Aurora you’ll find numerous for sale.
This is not the purpose of my letter however. My purpose is traffic. Where are all the cars and trucks going to go? The traffic in the area right now is pathetic and this will only add to the congestion.
Please do the citizens of Aurora a favour and not approve this development whether it be five or eight stories.
