The Aurora business community is invited to attend the inaugural Aurora Chamber Tech Expo during BDC’s Small Business Week. On Thursday October 20, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 8.00 p.m. at King’s Riding Golf Club, 14700 Bathurst Street, King.
York Region entrepreneurs and small business professionals can learn about locally provided IT solutions to improve productivity, increase profits, connect their business….and make life easier.
The first annual Aurora Chamber Tech Expo will showcase over 20 experts with hands-on demos and information about topics such as using analytics to track online business, cloud computing, protecting and storing data, connecting mobile devices, new advances in “technifying” business, hardware solutions, and much more. Gaining knowledge and tools from local tech experts can help busy York Region business people effectively compete with local, national and global companies.
Event sponsors include the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Lenovo, Microsoft, The Tech Zone, Treefrog, and York Region Small Business Enterprise Centre (YSBEC).
Event attendees have the chance to win an incredible door prize, a Remix Android PC computer. Many of the sponsors and exhibitors will have prizes and giveaways, as well.
As more than half of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce members identify themselves as small business owners, and this trend is reflected throughout the nine municipalities of York Region, the Chamber is thrilled to launch this helpful resource for the local business community.
Attendees can register online in advance for free admission at, or pay $10 at the door. Parking is free.
