Hundreds of people are expected at Kettle Lake Park in King City on Sunday, August 14, to commemorate the three Neville-Lake children and their grandfather, who were victims in a fatal tragic drinking and driving crash in September 2015

Organizers created the memorial for parents Ed and Jennifer so they would have a permanent place to honour their children and father.

Jennifer Neville-Lake grew up in King City, and her mother lives close to the park. Through donations from the community, organizers have planted four trees with plaques dedicated to the deceased children Daniel, Harry, Milly and their grandfather, Gary Neville at Kettle Lake Park. A bench will also be dedicated in their honour.

The free event is open to the community and runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The day starts off at 11.30 a.m. with a dove release, with bubbles provided to children in attendance to blow during release.

Activities for children, including an interactive showcase from Reptilia, start at 11:45 a.m.

Donation boxes will be available on-site with all funds going directly to Jennifer and Ed Neville-Lake.

Kettle Lake Park is located at 50 Langdon Drive, King City.
