Thanks for reaction to parking lot mishap

November 4, 2015   ·   0 Comments

I was rushing around October 5 and decided to pop into Longo’s to grab dinner.
I inadvertently left the car out of gear, without the emergency brake on – something I didn’t notice until I came back out with my groceries. By that time, my car had rolled forward and was wedged against another vehicle.
I waited for the owner to come out and when she did, instead of exchanging telephone numbers and discussing restitution, Sherrin Blandizzi nonchalantly shrugged off my concerns.
Just to be sure and in case she had a change of mind, I gave her my contact info.
I loved reading her email to me tonight (after hubby took a look) suggesting the work was minor and that they would take care of it.
I was very moved by this simple act. Not because of the money it saved me, but because it was just a really nice reaction by someone who, like me, wasn’t having the best day.
I am now, and I so it would seem
that in Aurora, you really are in good company. Grazie Sherrin!
