{"id":8938,"date":"2014-11-12T17:29:55","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T22:29:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/?p=8938"},"modified":"2014-12-03T17:12:20","modified_gmt":"2014-12-03T22:12:20","slug":"auroras-bantam-a-tigers-win-the-2014-2015-pittsburgh-veterans-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/auroras-bantam-a-tigers-win-the-2014-2015-pittsburgh-veterans-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Aurora\u2019s Bantam A Tigers win the 2014 \u2013 2015 Pittsburgh Veterans Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Submitted by Joe Chimienti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aurora\u2019s Bantam A Tigers returned home this weekend as the 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Veterans Cup Champions.<\/p>\n<p>The Tigers went 3W &#8211; 1L in pool play finishing second overall and advancing directly to the Finals.<\/p>\n<p>This would also set up a re-match versus the Toronto Aeros, to whom the boys lost 5 \u2013 3 in pool play.<\/p>\n<p>The finals were an exciting, hard-fought contest that was close to the very end.
