{"id":8769,"date":"2014-10-29T17:09:40","date_gmt":"2014-10-29T21:09:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/?p=8769"},"modified":"2014-10-29T17:09:40","modified_gmt":"2014-10-29T21:09:40","slug":"neighbourhood-networks-food-drive-returns-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/neighbourhood-networks-food-drive-returns-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"Neighbourhood Network\u2019s food drive returns Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Food Banks Canada\u2019s Hunger Count Survey, in 2013 over 833,000 people across Canada turned to local food banks for support, with almost 376,000 of these people residing in Ontario.<br \/>\nDespite these high numbers, 38% of food banks have been forced to make cutbacks on the amount of food they serve because they do not have enough.
