In Mr. McRoberts letter last week, he lists a number of reasons (in his opinion) why a ward system for Aurora is not a good idea.
\nMany of his points are made on false assumptions.
\nImagine those with \u201cneighborhood issues\u201d contacting nine Council members as he suggests?
\nIt is 2014, after all, and Aurora has changed to being a Town of a collection of neighborhoods with more of them quickly being built. It is these neighborhoods, within the total community, who need a voice to speak for them as advocates.
\nJust ask owners of condos or apartment residents here. They want and need a ward system.
\nWhile we are getting progressive, the Town too should implement an electronic voting system!<\/p>\n
