Dr. Robert E. Williams has announced that he will retire from his family practice as of August 2014. \u201cDoctor Bob\u201d has been practicing family medicine for over 44 years, most of that time in Aurora.
\nOur family has been under his compassionate and excellent care for over 25 of those years.
\nWe would like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge and thank him for taking care of each one of us as though we were his own family.
\nKathy Banks, RN, who is affectionately referred to as \u201cNurse Cratchit\u201d by those of us who have had the privilege of knowing her and having her take an active role in our health and wellbeing. There is no more reassuring a voice than Kathy\u2019s at the end of the line when you are dealing with a medical crisis of any kind.
\nDoctor Bob and Kathy have given all their patients ample time to find a new family practice, and I\u2019m sure we will find competent alternatives, however, these two professionals are irreplaceable in our opinion.
\nSincere best wishes to both of you as you take the next steps in your lives. You can be confident that you have left a very positive legacy in this town.
