Her long list of accomplishments include placing 4th and 5th at the Commonwealth Games (200m Fly &#038; 100m Fly);  6th  at the World Championships (200m Fly); 4th  at the Pan American Games and was a Canadian Record Holder.<br \/>\nHughes swam for Etobicoke and North York before receiving an Athletic Scholarship to Arizona State University where she majored in Journalism and achieved NCCP Level 2 coaching status.<\/p>\n<p>As former coach of Ducks Swimming in 2005, she helped lead their win at the Ontario AAA Age Group Team Championship.
