{"id":38458,"date":"2026-07-02T12:45:24","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T16:45:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/?p=38458"},"modified":"2026-07-02T12:45:37","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T16:45:37","slug":"finalists-announced-for-aurora-chamber-of-commerces-business-excellence-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newspapers-online.com\/auroran\/finalists-announced-for-aurora-chamber-of-commerces-business-excellence-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Finalists announced for Aurora Chamber of Commerce\u2019s Business Excellence Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The nominations are in and the best of the best in local business are putting their best feet forward for the Aurora Chamber of Commerce\u2019s annual Business Excellence Awards, set for October 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s nominees were announced Thursday evening at a special reception held at Poached Dreams Diner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The awards represent \u201ca diverse range of industries and demonstrate the entrepreneurial spirit, community involvement, and commitment to excellence that make Aurora&#8217;s business community exceptional.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Alison Mumford, Executive Director of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, this year\u2019s process saw a record-number of nominations come in \u2013 155 in all \u2013 across seven categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI want to acknowledge that the decisions our selection committees had to make were incredibly difficult,\u201d said Mumford. \u201cThe strength and quality of this year&#8217;s nominations made narrowing the field no easy task. Every nominee here tonight should be incredibly proud of this recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs I announce each of the finalists, I encourage you to reflect on the hard work, dedication, and passion that each of these businesses and individuals bring to our community. Consider the impact that they have made, the challenges they have overcome, and the remarkable contributions they continue to make in helping Aurora thrive.
