Congratulations to Mr. Aurora, Ron Wallace, on his award, Citizen of the Year.
\nHe truly deserves this honour for his dedication to make Aurora even better. His past is a history by itself. Volunteer Fireman, Aurora Town Councillor, past owner of The Auroran (the little paper that grew due to Ron and his staff), past owner of R & R Books, a fundraiser for so many charities, member of the Rotary Club, founder of the world\u2019s longest street festival in Aurora many years ago. The list goes on and on and on.
\nI wish that I could say more about Ron, but I would rather just tell him that he deserves this honour and I wish him all the best.
\nThank you Ron for taking me under your wing when I was on Council with you. Thank you for those Legion lunches that we enjoyed with many of your friends.
