It was time for Aurora\u2019s youth to get their groove on Saturday at the Aurora Community Centre for the Youth Music Extravaganza.
\nAs the first event in a three-day bash celebrating the dual birthdays of Aurora and Canada this Canada Day Weekend, teens and pre-teens filled ACC1 for a Battle of the Bands, featuring York Region-based youth bands duking it out for musical supremacy, with selection ranging from Bachman Turner Overdrive to original metal songs.
\n10 Cent Pistol eventually won the day, before the Centre was taken over by the pros for the MuchMusic Video Dance Party, featuring an array of talent including Tyler Shaw.<\/p>\n
