York Regional Police are investigating the deaths of two\nAurora men after their bodies were discovered in Aurora and\nWhitchurch-Stouffville over the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A police presence is in the area of the Tim Jones Trail,\nat the south end of John West Way, after the body of a deceased man was located\nin the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn Saturday, October 28, shortly before 4 p.m., officers\nresponded to a call regarding a body located in a tent in the trail system off\nJohn West Way, north of Wellington Street East,\u201d said Constable Andy Pattenden\nin a statement on Monday. \u201cThe Office of the Chief Coroner has attended the\nscene and investigators are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination\nto identify the deceased. At this time, the scene is being held pending the\nresults of the post-mortem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police are also investigating the death of a 21-year-old east Aurora man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was last seen on Thursday, October 27, around 7 a.m. when, according to the Police, he drove away from his residence near Bayview Avenue and Wellington Street East. He had not been in touch with family and friends since he left and that raised alarm bells as it was \u201cout of character\u201d for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was reported missing by York Regional Police on Friday morning, where they released his image and information on his vehicle \u2013 a 2013 four-door black Mercedes 300.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, he was found deceased in Whitchurch-Stouffville that afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn Friday, October 25, at approximately 3 p.m., officers with the York Regional Police Search and Rescue Unit located the vehicle he had been driving, as well as [the man], who was deceased in a wooded area near Warden Avenue and Aurora Road,\u201d said Constable Pattenden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
