The Town of Aurora has lifted the curtain on its 2019\nConcerts in the Park lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The popular summer concert series, which will take place\nat Town Park each Wednesday night in July and August and is presented by TD\nBank Group, gets underway with something for the kids on July 3 with the\nMarquee Travelling Troupe, blending musical theatre favourites with pop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rest of the series kicks off on July 10 with\nNicklebach \u2013 A Tribute to Nickelback, followed by the Juno-nominated Sultans of\nString, who blend Celtic roots with flamenco, jazz, and more, on July 17.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series continues July 24 with American Rogues, who\nhave composed music for Game of Thrones, Outlander and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tributes to classic favourites help end July and take the\nseries through mid-August with Exodus \u2013 Tribute to Bob Marley on July 31,\nMountain Music \u2013 Tribute to Alabama on August 7, and A Tribute to Janis Joplin\nand Jimi Hendrix on August 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Concerts in the Park gets a little bit country on August\n21 with the Magna Hoedown Showdown, before the series finale on August 28\nfeaturing Abbamania \u2013 Tribute to Abba. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrom start to finish, we\u2019ve covered a lot of different\ngenres and tried to be as celebratory as possible,\u201d says Shelley Ware, Special\nEvents Coordinator for the Town of Aurora. \u201cThere\u2019s a story behind each concert\nchosen. We have everything for you. We have the Farmers\u2019 Market on site, you\ncan grab snacks or even a full dinner. Experience the evening \u2013 it\u2019s a summer\ntradition and it is a tradition not to be missed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aurora Farmers\u2019 Market will set up a mini-market from\n5 \u2013 9 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
