We\u2019re back!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I mean is that the Aurora Farmers\u2019\nMarket and Artisan Fair will be opening our outdoor season on Wells Street and\nin Town Park on Saturday, May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are all hoping that the elusive\nspring finally will have made an appearance by then. Most of us have had a\ndifficult time enduring the seriously cold winter and can\u2019t wait for the warm,\nsunny days that spring promises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, it seems that we may have\nto wait a bit longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps everyone fervently urging the\nweather gods to favour us with spring temperatures will make it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although we still will be accepting a\nfew additional applications to the Market, the following list indicates which\nvendors will be at our Market this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farmers: Coopers CSA Farm; Howard\u2019s\nFarm; Providence Hill Farm; Summerside Farm; Willowtree Farm; Pioneer Brand\nHoney; Pillitteri Estates Winery; Simpson Family Farm (not until July) and a\nnew farm-Endless Harvest Hydroponic Gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food: Catering by Gabriel; Catharina\u2019s\nKitchen; Crown and Anchor Food; Jan\u2019s Country Pantry (every two weeks); La\nBrehandaise Catering; Sarah Joy Sweets and Sasha\u2019s Sweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artisans: Eva Nagy; Heartsease\nCo.(alternating with each other); Kibo Natural Body Care; Out of My Mind:\nDesigns by Moira; Brainy Games; Gelmania Candles; Green Leaf Designs; Whiskey\nJack Flowers and two new artisans – Chatty Sisters and Grande Woodcraft   & Young Living Essential Oils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Booths: Aurora Public Library;\nAurora Cultural Centre; Aurora Garden and Horticultural Society; Amnesty International;\nLittle T Fitness; 2019 Georgian College Auto Show; Sport Aurora; Margaret Bahen\nHospice for York Region; Soroptimist International of York Region; Nordic Pole\nWalking and Plastic Free Aurora. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please keep in mind that, while this\nlist is correct at this time, there may be additions and\/or cancellations as\nthe season progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Special Events this year are as\nfollows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May 25-Spring Festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June 22-Strawberry Festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 20-Customer Appreciation Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 24-Community Corn Roast<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September 28-Culture Days (Soup Fest)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 12-Harvest Festival<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, there will be entertainment on\nthe Special Event days which will include music from the Bandshell as well as\nother activities designed for family fun. There will be crafts for the children\nand a draw for a Market bag full of goodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In between these days from time to time\nwe will host buskers. Anyone who is interested in busking should send their\nrequest with details concerning the instrument(s) they play and their\navailability to our website: theaurorafarmersmarket.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you visit us at the Farmers\u2019\nMarket, please abide by the parking rules around the park and do not block any\ndriveways or use a handicapped spot without a permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have worked very hard to establish a\ncordial relationship with the neighbours which we value greatly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also please use the appropriate garbage\ncontainers while at the park and remember that there is no smoking anywhere\nnear the vendors\u2019 booths or near the water play area or the baseball field.\nThank you very much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
