It appears that our\ntime travelling machine has a glitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we can\u2019t\npinpoint the exact cause of the disruption, we encounter a major malfunction\nevery time we try to travel back to the not so distant past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our collection is\nfull of wonderful objects and incredible stories from over a century ago such\nas the construction of the drill shed in Town Park (1874) and the Victorian Bicycle\nCraze that rolled through Town in the 1890s, but stories from the 1970s, 80s\nand 90s are rarer than hen\u2019s teeth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every day at the\nMuseum we hear rumours, little snippets of long forgotten stories just waiting\nto be retold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the story\nbehind the weekly wrestling matches at the Aurora Community Centre? How many\nhorses actually fit into Town Park? Could you really buy a house in Aurora for\nless than $25,000? But just as we get close to learning the truth, the stories\nvanish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stories have to be told\nor they die, and when they die, we can\u2019t remember who we are or why we are\nhere. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowledgeable sources\nhave told us that within Town limits there are tens of thousands of fellow time\ntravellers, each with their own areas of interest and expertise. We are calling\nupon you to share your experiences of life in Aurora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
