Who knew that in my\never-changing daily routine of homelessness I\u2019m now learning some of the\nlanguage of street?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s almost like\ngoing back to school to get a degree in sociology and I\u2019m\nthe oldest person in the classroom while looking around thinking, \u201cGreat, guess\nI\u2019ll be the last person in the room invited to a keg party.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come to think of it,\nI have never socialized at one before so I wouldn\u2019t be missing out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At classroom outside,\nI\u2019m staring blankly wondering what on earth I was\nthinking to even think of learning to attempt street corner solicitation of\nspare change. I have zero common ground skills to my professional pan handling\nteachers, which is noted from my deer in the headlight look most days of this\nlife experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cannot picture\nmyself holding up a sign asking for spare change. One person mentioned he did\nit for two years making over five hundred a week. I was listening and doing the\nmath thinking, well that\u2019s a reasonable amount to put towards renting\nsomewhere. But how long would you want to employ yourself doing that in all\nkinds of weather and dealing with the various personalities of the suits\nwondering and even saying that you\u2019re a useless member of society, you\u2019re being\nlazy, or \u201cget off the drugs,\u201d which doesn\u2019t apply to me whatsoever?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would have to have\na creative sign since I enjoy the challenge of journalistic catch phrases. \u201cTo\nBe Me Or Not To Be Me That Is The Monetary Question, Change Please.\u201d To long\nstart over. Second thought \u201cThis is my second career in life, Change Please. Three\nwords or less in advertising. \u201cMiss Money Penny Has Needs\u201d \u2013 still two words\nover. Finally, why change what works anyway, so it\u2019s back to \u201cSpare Change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life at the library,\nmy office of networking, management of my destiny details, and the psychiatrist\nis in Lucy. I meet yet again, Mr. Conspiracy Factor, as I nickname him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He goes on to tell\nme in \u201cstreet\u201d you need to learn how to lie. I cannot I say, that\u2019s so not me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell if you want to\nsurvive you better start.  If you can\u2019t\nget a job, lie to get one, lie to get a place lie to survive.\u201d I\u2019m no Donald\nTrump, but I now have learned the real raw brutal truth, do I have to give up\nmy moral compass to get ahead?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of that lesson.\npart two in street, I\u2019m given the nickname the \u201cQueen\u201d simply because I debate\nall his bizarre issues while I listen stoically and maintain at the same time,\nI like the Royal Family. This street talk is a woo who whirlwind of crazyville\nas I see it, but also humorous and quite an amusing way to unleash random\nthoughts we would otherwise have never shared at the dinner table of\naristocrats to begin with, or each other until now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also laugh to let\nout a real emotion letting lose for a normal few seconds of our day out from\nthe chaos of our depravity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far in Street;\nearning income, nickname, lie, and laugh to feel human. Sharing is a real\ncurrency. Food, cigarettes, clothing. The in-the-know, too, of shelters places,\ncommunity dinners and medical aid. I just absorb this knowledge with the stark\ncontrast that I cannot survive as a \u201cStreeter\u201d but I\u2019m grateful for the\neducation into it if at any point I should start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does he call\nthe society that recognizes us as sub-human? Well, there is a nick name. The\n\u201cAristocraps\u201d according to Mr. Conspiracy. I, on the other hand, do not want to\nlabel people of privilege since a while back my lifestyle was indeed the\ncandlelight suppers of the Bucket (Bouquet) residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
