Cardinal Carter CHS Free the Children E-waste event was a great success. <\/p>\n

We appreciate all the promotion our group received, prior to the event and were delighted when on the day of the event the students were photographed with one of two large dumpsters filled with electronic waste. They were proud to show off the fruits of their labour.<\/p>\n

Many who dropped off their “e-clutter” commented that they saw our event promoted in your publication and were happy to contribute to our cause. <\/p>\n

This is the first time we’ve held an event like this and between the wonderful weather and the support of the community, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. We await final totals, but we are estimating that we collected over 15,000 pounds of e-waste \u2013 items that will be recycled 98%.
