Chris Ballard, MPP, could have saved himself some time when he wrote Thursday\u2019s column. He could have copied any number of Liberal press releases from the past decade. It was the same old Liberal pablum we have been served year after year
\nThe Liberals are always \u201con target\u201d to eliminate the deficit but it is always in the distant future. Can anyone remember the Drummond Report from years ago warning of the problems of Ontario\u2019s debt? We are now pouring close to $32 million every day down the drain just to pay the interest on our massive debt and the Liberals still plan to someday, maybe in just a few years, get around to dealing with this.
\nIt is the same for the green economy.
\nHow long have we heard about the huge number of green jobs that are going to be created, someday, in the future? Meanwhile, I wonder how many good real jobs have been destroyed or shipped out of the Province to create these future green jobs that never seem to materialize.
\nStay tuned for the next Liberal budget in 2017. For his column on that occasion, Mr. Ballard will only need to copy and paste.<\/p>\n
