Mayor Geoff Dawe has been re-elected Chair of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA).<\/p>\n

He was re-elected last week for a second consecutive term.<\/p>\n

\u201cReceiving the continued support of my colleagues on the Board of Directors means a great deal to me,\u201d he said. \u201cThis past year as Chair of the LSRCA has been a highlight of my career and I am thrilled to continue on in that role. I expect 2016 will be even more exciting as the Authority begins implementing our new five-year strategic plan.\u201d<\/p>\n

This new strategic plan will \u201cmark the beginning of a new chapter\u201d for the LSRCA with a \u201cVision to Action, Action to Results\u201d including a new vision and mission that will be a renewal of, rather than a departure from, their previous mission and values to \u201cwork with our community to protect and restore the Lake Simcoe watershed by leading research, policy and action\u201d while envisioning a \u201cthriving environment that inspires and sustains us for generations to come.\u201d<\/p>\n\"Facebook\"<\/a>\"twitter\"<\/a>\"mail\"<\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
