In his recent letter to The Auroran newspaper, Klaus Wehrenberg puts a human face on war. He recoils at the prospect of a \u201ctank\u201d sharing the Peace Park with the Cenotaph. The Canadian War Museum seems a fitting place for the tools of death and destruction.
\nA more appropriate addition to the Peace Park would be recognition that an Aurora Methodist preacher\u2019s boy, studied at the Church Street School, went on to win the 1957 Nobel Prize for Peace and become Canada\u2019s 14th Prime Minister \u2013 Lester Bowles “Mike” Pearson.<\/p>\n
