Do you have a pothole in need of repair, broken signs or graffiti in your neighbourhood? The Town of Aurora now has an app for that.
On Tuesday, the Town launched an extension to its PingStreet mobile app, which is now available for Apple, Android, BlackBerry and Windows mobile devices.
Through the app, the problem you report will be received directly by Town Staff. Joining existing tabs such as “News” which provides information about events and the goings-on at Town Hall, and the “Garbage and Recycling” tile which helps users keep track on when to put their boxes curbside, “Report A Problem” invites users to take a photo of the issue, classify it, pin down the location of the issue, and receive follow-ups directly from Town Staff.
