<br>Coming off a very successful 2015 season winning back-to-back-to-back Provincial titles and a National silver medal in Calgary, Typhoon set their eyes on capturing a National title this season. We started the season off slowly having to fight through numerous injuries (four ankles and a fractured knuckle) and sicknesses (flu and mono) and relied on the depth of our team, our will to win and a few talented younger athletes in the club who filled in on a call-up basis and to achieve the Volleyball Triple Crown. We captured gold in all three major events this season: 16U Grand Prix, 16U Provincials and 16U Nationals. A truly remarkable accomplishment for a very talented group of athletes.
