Thanks you for the article about me in the July 24 and 31 issues. I did not realise that I had loved so long that it would take two weeks to tell my story!
There is a mistake, however, I must point out. His Worship Dick Illingworth did not forget Wilf Black's name, or anyone else's, I don't believe, in his lifetime!
I said, “the Mayor at the time.” I do not wish to look like a tattler by naming names!
