Saturday, April 11 will mark the one-year anniversary of the fire that devastated Aurora United Church (AUC).

To mark the event, the AUC invites the community to the site of the fire at 15186 Yonge Street (at Tyler Street) starting at 12 noon.

Events include prayers, remembrances, music and more as the church continues its journey “uniting hearts and hands with great hope” for the future.

Commemorations will continue at 7.30 p.m. at Newmarket's Trinity United Church (461 Park Avenue) with Ursula Ivonoffski with Songs of Faith, Hope and Love. Tickets are $20 ($10 for students) and all proceeds will benefit the Aurora United Church Future Fund.]]></content-encoded>
