It's going to be a jam-packed two weeks at the Aurora Community Centre.

Following a decisive 7-4 road victory against the Stouffville Spirit, the Aurora Tigers can take advantage of having the ACC for the next two weekends as they begin a four-game home set this Friday against the Georgetown Raiders.

Following a 2-1 loss on the road against the Milton Menace last Friday, the Tigers went back out on the road the next evening.

The boys went into the next evening with a head full of steam, and just over a minute into the game they opened the scoring.

Tigers forward Ryan Evenhuis scored his third goal in his last five games just 1:18 into the first frame. Newly acquired defenseman Erik MacNiel scored his third goal in his 11th game as a member of the Tigers to make it 2-0.

After expanding their lead, the Tigers ran into a brick wall and coughed up two goals to close out the period.

In the second period, with the wind in their backs, the Spirit added another two goals on the power play to take a 4-2 lead. Lucas Stanojevic scored near the end of the second period to make it 4-3 heading into the final 20 minutes.

And, in the third period, the Tigers pulled up their socks and scored four unanswered to close out the game. Stanojevic, Zander Hutchinson, Stefan Forgione and Ryan Gagner (empty-net) all contributed on the score sheet in the win.

Now 27 games into the season, the Tigers currently have a 13-10-1-3 record. Stanojevic currently leads the team in points with 22 goals and 14 assists in that span.

As a team, the Tigers have the sixth best offence in the league, averaging 4.15 goals per game and have the sixth best power play with a 22.41 per cent success rate.

Defensively, the boys are 12th in goals against with 3.44 and have the 13th best penalty kill in the league.

It's been a great season so far for the Tigers and anyone interested in coming out to a game will have a great chance to do so for the next two weeks at the Community Centre.

The Raiders come to town Friday and the Toronto Patriots will arrive Saturday night. Puck drop is at 7.30 p.m. both nights.
