Venues across Aurora were hopping on Friday and Saturday night for the fifth annual Aurora Winter Blues Festival (AWBF).

Hundreds took part in this year's party, whether at Theatre Aurora, the Aurora Cultural Centre, Aw, Shucks, King Richard's English Pub, and a variety of other locations, enjoying the music while raising money for CHATS (Community and Home Assistance to Seniors) and Blue Door Shelters.

“We are still formalizing the numbers, but at this time we can announce we have surpassed last year's fundraising efforts for CHATS, Blue Door Shelters, and our Youth in Music Program,” said the AWBF on Tuesday. Performers at Theatre Aurora, pictured above, included Dawn Tyler Watson, and a host of others.
