Those participating in the journey are expected to arrive in Aurora this Saturday, September 12 at approximately 12.45 p.m., making a stop at the historic Aurora Armoury. There, they will be greeted by MPP Chris Ballard, Mayor Geoff Dawe and other members of Council. Participants will travel from Newmarket to Aurora via the Nokiidaa Trail, which links to Aurora on St. John's Sideroad just east of Yonge Street. Details of the Aurora stop are yet to be finalized, but local First Nations and musicians from the Queen's York Rangers have been invited to participate.
