Stars shine bright at Vaughan Film Festival

The annual Vaughan Film Festival returned to the city this past week. After two days of film screenings, the festival ended on a high note with an awards show Friday at Riviera Parque Convention Centre in Concord. Fatima Ptacek, Hollywood actress and the voice of Dora the Explorer, was presented with the first ever Leadership Award at the festival. The award was presented by Vaughan MPP Steven Del Duca (second from right) and Vaughan Film Festival co-founders Mark Pagliaroli (left) and Antonio Ienco (right). Photo by Angela Gismondi
