Tottenham Food Bank running low on food

It’s that time of year again – people are gearing up for the holiday’s and almost simultaneously the shelves at the local food bank are getting bare.

The Our Town Food Bank, which serves almost 100 families in the communities of Tottenham and Beeton, is asking for your support.

“We would appreciate any non perishable items such as peanut butter, tuna, fruit (tins or lunch cups), pasta sauce, stews, Chef Boyardee, drinking boxes etc.,” said Ben Bergin of Our Town. “Items may be dropped off at the boxes in Foodland (Tottenham or Beeton) or at 3 George St. in Tottenham on Tuesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., 1 – 2:30 p.m., or 7 – 8:30 p.m. Thank you for being so supportive over the years.”
