Turn restrictions are “absolutely ridiculous”

After reading some proposals for the Yonge and Wellington nightmare, I think it is absolutely appalling that Councillor Mrakas is proposing no left turns at Yonge Street and Wellington.
That would mean that Tyler and Mill Streets would become more of a race track than they already are. Why they can't have advanced green lights in all directions beats me, and why can they not be timed so that more than one vehicle can make the turn?
Traffic manages very nicely at Davis Drive and Yonge Street in Newmarket with their system of left turn lights, so I don't see why this has been such a problem in the Town of Aurora.
Sending more traffic down Tyler Street is ridiculous. It's already being used as a
bypass, spare parking lot for the nursing home, truck route and school bus shortcut, and, with the proposed construction of 70 or more townhouse units for the old contaminated tannery property, and additional proposed diverted traffic from Yonge....we'll have to make an appointment to get out of our driveways.
Wake up Town Council, and start listening to the concerns of the residents who put you there.
