On Tuesday, July 9, Susan Milburn was represented by her legal counsel at the Newmarket courthouse.

The Dr. G. W. Williams Secondary School teacher was charged with criminal harassment on June 3. Milburn is being accused of harassing approximately 12 people, through threatening letters.

The majority of the complainants are school employees. Milburn’s bail conditions state that she cannot have contact with any of the complainants, cannot have access to a computer, and she is currently under house arrest.Milburn’s trial has been adjourned until further notice by the Crown.

She is a resident of Tottenham.

York Regional Police began investigations on May 1 after receiving “several complaints” from school staff, said the YRP at the time.

The charges have not been proven in court.
