Negative letters? Election is nigh!(Re: Mayoral candidate's Facebook promo was “arrogant”) You can always tell when an election in Aurora has been called. The negative letters from Matt Maddocks and others start up again. Letters against anyone who would challenge Dawe is attacked either by letters or blog. It doesn't seem to matter if the statements are true or not as long as they slam the challengers. I went through this in the last election. Well, they are off and running. A letter already against John Gallo over nothing that most people would see, but Matt Maddocks has said that John Gallo was “arrogant” on Facebook, as he said “Mayor Gallo, a New Mayor, Better Town.” Wow, this is awful. NOT. This, to me, is advertising and what I would call it [is] a political statement. I look forward to seeing a clean, not negative campaign. MM, let's just print good things about your candidate and please stop the crap. Can you imagine how great that would be to all Aurorans? Nigel Kean Aurora |
