Outscoring their opponents by an astonishing margin of 43 – 10 in three round-robin games, the Jays topped Toronto, Scarborough, and Richmond Hill on a busy Saturday to earn a quarterfinal matchup with the Western Ontario Bulls on Saturday evening. Aurora moved on with a 12 – 0 shutout victory, facing the Newmarket Hawks in the semifinals on Sunday. Newmarket won the clash of unbeaten teams 6 – 2, sending the Jays to the consolation finals. There, they met a tough Barrie squad and fell 14 – 3. The Hawks, meanwhile, won the championship later that afternoon with an 11 – 2 thumping of North Toronto.
