While Aurora’s traditional Easter festivities have been cancelled this year, as have many family gatherings, you can still get into the festive spirit by decorating your windows for passers-by.
Create a fun and festive window display and submit your photo by Friday, April 10, for a chance to have your creativity showcased by the Town of Aurora.
“As families across the globe are staying at home from
work and school due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Aurora is providing a
chance for the community to connect with each other while practicing physical
distancing,” says the Town. “From now until Friday, April 10, make a colourful,
creative Easter-themed window at home so your neighbours and the Easter Bunny
can see!”
There are three easy steps to participate:
You can also tag the Town in your photo on Facebook @Town_of_Aurora or on Instagram @TownofAurora.
All participants must continue to practice physical distancing and only participate with members of their immediate household.
Entries will be showcased online on Saturday, April 11.
