The Honour Our Veterans Banner Program will see 44 banners lining the streets of historic, downtown Aurora from October 1, 2016 to November 12, 2016. Each banner will display the name of the veteran or active service member, a photo of him/her in uniform, the era of service, branch of service, and the name of the organization sponsoring the banner. Aurora Legion Branch 385 and the Town of Aurora are proud to have joined together, with the support of the Aurora community, to celebrate and recognize the great achievements and sacrifices of Aurora's service members. The program will be funded by individual sponsorship at a cost of $200 per banner. Application forms will be available for pick up at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 385 at 105 Industrial Parkway North, Aurora or Aurora Town Hall at 100 John West Way.
