Costs decision was a "knockout"It is a relief that the insurance company of the Town of Aurora, in the defence action of our former mayor, Mrs. Phyllis Morris vs. Mr. George Hervey, is going to recover $50.850.00 in legal costs (including HST). The Aurora property tax payers, no doubt, would otherwise have been facing a substantial premium increase. Noteworthy is the astute observation of Ontario Supreme Court Justice Cory Gilmore that Mr. George Hervey's failed action was, among others, politically rather than legally motivated.
