Congratulations to Mr. Aurora, Ron Wallace, on his award, Citizen of the Year. 
He truly deserves this honour for his dedication to make Aurora even better. His past is a history by itself. Volunteer Fireman, Aurora Town Councillor, past owner of The Auroran (the little paper that grew due to Ron and his staff), past owner of R & R Books, a fundraiser for so many charities, member of the Rotary Club, founder of the world's longest street festival in Aurora many years ago. The list goes on and on and on. 
I wish that I could say more about Ron, but I would rather just tell him that he deserves this honour and I wish him all the best.
Thank you Ron for taking me under your wing when I was on Council with you. Thank you for those Legion lunches that we enjoyed with many of your friends.
